An East Texas man was killed early Sunday morning, and his son has been detained. Smith County Investigators say 46-year-old Patrick Crowder, Sr., of Flint, was stabbed to death by 22-year-old Patrick Crowder, Jr., after an argument over whether the younger man would go to church Sunday. He remains in the Smith County Jail.
