East Texas Woman Guilty Of Assault With Cooking Pot

A 77-year-old Big Sandy woman has been convicted in Upshur County of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Frances Bailey Clark was accused of hitting another person over the head with a cooking pot. The jury sentenced her to five years in prison, but the judge in the case suspended the prison time and ordered her to serve two years probation, undergo anger management classes and perform community service.
