The Alamo Mission Museum’s Annual November Rally in Mt Vernon is taking place Saturday (Nov 17) and will include a full day’s activities beginning with the crock-pot stew cook-off to be judged at 11:15 and served at the lunch hour. Visitors will be treated to a swap meet, enjoy the aroma of the on-site BBQ competition, silent auction, games all afternoon including the famous punkin’ chunkin’, BBQ served after 2:00 judging,
New this year, vendors set up for FREE. So, anyone who wishes to sell or trade an object, come in and set up.
Children’s games include the board race, redneck horseshoes, tug of war, punkin’ chunkin’ and others. It’s an all afternoon affair and exciting to watch.
BBQ will be served after being judged in the afternoon and for those who must work on Saturday, will be available for take-out. So come on out and enjoy the festivities.

No Bike Poker Run this year. However, there will be the BIKE GAMES and a lot of BBQ and stew on hand, $5 for all you can eat plus drink. We hope to resume the poker run next year.
