The Fort Towson Historic Site is excited to have been chosen to host a Smithsonian Traveling Exhibition, “Exploring Water’s Environmental and Cultural Impact.” The exhibition will be available to the public from Tuesday (Dec 17) through Tuesday (Feb 11). On Saturday (Jan 18), the site will host a special event demonstrating how life on the river occurred in the 1800s. This special event will be in conjunction with the exhibition at the Historic Site from 10:00 am thru 3:00 pm.
Also, the Blue Thumb water quality education program will be on-site to provide additional educational presentations and materials.
