Exhausted Rangers Head Home Plus Mavericks Officially Sign Barnes



Last night the Texas Rangers drop their series with the Boston Red Sox after falling 11-6. Boston scored all 11 runs through the first four innings. While the Ranger come back attempt fell well short, they did get a blast from Prince Fielder [AUDIO]. With the Astros winning last night the Rangers lead in the AL West slips to 6.5 games. In NBA Free Agency, players are finally allowed to officially sign their contracts. The Mavs made the signing of former Warriors guard Harrison Barnes and in good humor of last summer’s situation with DeAndre Jordan, owner Mark Cuban tweeted out a picture of Barnes handcuffed to President of Basketball Operations, Donnie Nelson. Dallas is also looking to bring back former first round draft pick Rodrigue Beaubois. Elsewhere, Dwyane Wade will be leaving Miami where he has spent his entire 13 year career and is headed to his home town of Chicago to sign with the Bulls.

In the Wimbledon men’s quarterfinals, 2nd ranked Andy Murray defeated Jo-Wilfried Tsonga in a full five set match. 3rd Ranked Roger Federer won the same way against Marin Cilic. Number 6 Milos Raonic defeated Sam Querrey and 10th ranked Tomas Berdych beats Lucus Pouille. The match between top ranked Serena Williams and Elena Vesnina is currently underway in the Women’s semi-final. The winner will face the winner of Venus Williams and Angelique Kerber set to begin at 9am this morning.

In the 2016 Euro Championships Cristiano Ronaldo leads Portugal past Gareth Bale Welsh 2-0 to advance to the finals where they’ll take on the winner of Germany and France, who play today beginning at 2pm.
