Fannin County Man Arrested On Multiple Cattle Theft Charges

Officials are accusing Robert Mitchell Self, 32, of borrowing three-quarters of a million dollars from a Fannin County bank for cattle and not paying the loan off. Authorities had charged Self last October of stealing cattle in Rains County. If convicted, he faces up to 99 years, a $10,000 fine, and restitution. Self faces ten years in prison for the Rains County theft.
