Federal Appellate Court Rejects Death Row Appeal

The Fifth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals has rejected an appeal by Randy Halprin, one of the last two surviving Texas Seven members who escaped from a South Texas prison and murdered an Irving Police Officer. Halprin and Patrick Murphy are the last two gang members on death row. Murphy is slated for execution in March.
