Five Fannin County Jailers Fired

Fannin County has fired five jailers after an investigation by LaSalle Corrections, the private company that operates the jail. Raymond Ross and Ramon Perez had escaped in November. After a four-day search, Perez surrendered in Bryan County, and they found Ross in a Bonham apartment. The investigation showed that the terminated jailers failed to do their due diligence and duties and make appropriate inspections.
