Former Dallas Police Officer Transported To State Prison

Former Balch Springs Police Officer, Roy Oliver, has been transferred out of the Dallas County Jail to begin serving his 15-year prison sentence for murder. Oliver was taken to the James “Jay” H. Byrd unit in Huntsville. Oliver was convicted of murder when he shot into a moving vehicle, killing 15-year-old Jordan Edwards.
