Frisco Woman Dies After Hit-And-Run At College Station

A Collin County woman who was struck by a hit and run driver more than a week ago in College Station died of her injuries Sunday. Allegedly, 19-year-old Carly Beatty, of Frisco, was walking home from a friend’s home with two roommates on Saturday, September 14, when she was struck by an SUV that kept going. Reportedly, 17-year-old Pedro Puga was later arrested after a brief foot chase. He allegedly told officers he would have outrun them if he hadn’t been high on cocaine and Xanax.
