Grand Jury Indicts Overton Man

Michael Lydall Grant

A grand jury indicted Michael Lydall Grant, 47, of Overton, in connection with the fatal hit and run of a pedestrian in Liberty City. Grant is under a $110,000 bond. The victim was Lechell Scott, 34. Grant had fled the scene of the fatality by the time officers arrived, but a Gregg County K-9 unit found him.
