Greenville Man Sentenced For False Claims, Retaliation

A Hunt County jury has convicted 57 year old Donny Joe Curry for filing false claims against Hunt County officials and retaliation against public servants. He was sentenced to a total of 40 years in prison on the four charges, but they will be served concurrently, and Curry must serve at least 10 years before becoming eligible for parole.  Curry had an extensive criminal history, including offenses in Commerce and Sulphur Springs.
