Head Of Carter County Non-Profit Sentenced For Embezzlement

The former executive director of the Carter County non-profit MORE Foundation, Roslyn Melodie Haile, 64, of Ardmore, has been sentenced for embezzling nearly $430,000. The money came from the organization’s bank accounts for personal use between 2017 and mid-2021. The court also convicted Haile of Income Tax Fraud. She was sentenced to one year and one day in federal prison and must pay restitution of almost $600,000.
