On the hardwood tonight, District basketball continues for the Chisum Lady Mustangs as they travel to Mt Vernon. The Prairiland Lady Patriots have a bye.
In non-district action, the Prairiland boys will be home against Paul Pewitt. The North Lamar Panthers And Pantherettes will both travel north of the Red River to face Idabel tonight.
The Paris Wildcats will also be in Oklahoma as they face Hugo. While the Lady Cats will be in Greenville.
The TRMC Tiger Town Tournament continues this morning starting at 10:30 am with Mt Pleasant facing Pleasant Grove. Game 2 features Marshall against CHAAMP. Game 3 is Longview against Lindale. And, Game 4 is Pine Tree vs Redwater. Semis will be tonight at 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm, with the Championship game at 4:30 pm Saturday. All games are at Willie Williams Gymnasium.

A recent CT scan on Carson Wentz’s back revealed a fractured vertebra that, if allowed time to rest, would fully heal so that there would be no further expected issues. There will be a continued evaluation of his back to determine whether continuing to play this season would worsen the injury for the Philadelphia Eagles’ starting quarterback.
