Sulphur Springs Police responded to an incident and contacted 68-year-old Marvin Frank Hall of Mount Vernon. Computer records confirmed that the Texas Department of Criminal Justice wanted him for violating the parole he was on. He’s in the Hopkins County Jail without bond.

William Lee Fenton

Hopkins County Deputies stopped a vehicle on Hwy 154 for a traffic violation, and the driver fled on foot into a nearby pasture before capture. Deputies arrested the passenger, William Fenton, and the driver, Henry Lee Woods, Jr., both of South Carolina, for Possession of a Controlled Substance, which was cocaine.

Latyeerra Latrice Andrews

Deputies arrested a Dallas woman over the weekend after leading a state trooper on a high-speed chase through about seven miles on I-30. They stopped the suspect near Cumby, and the trooper asked if she needed assistance when she took off. The chase ended at the 129-mile marker after another officer spiked the tires. They charged 29-year-old Latyeerra Latrice Andrews with Evading Arrest with a Vehicle.
