Four Wood County family members were killed Friday in a single-vehicle crash about 75 miles south of Kansas City blamed on winter weather. Investigators say the pickup driven by 66-year-old Larry Klingensmith of Winnsboro hit an ice patch, ran into a ditch, and overturned twice before becoming submerged in a flooded area. Klingensmith and his passengers, also from Winnsboro, died in the crash. The other victims were 65-year-old Kimberly Klingensmith, 32-year-old Karly Klingensmith, and 36-year-old Nicolas Klingensmith.
