Hopkins County Emergency Management reported Wednesday 139 active cases of COVID-19 in the county. There have been a total now of 2,518 positive tests in the county and 2,293 recoveries. The Texas DSHS reports a total of 87 deaths associated with COVID-19. There are 26 in the COVID Unit of Christus Mother Frances Hospital-Sulphur Springs.
