Motions to proceed with adjudication of guilt have been issued for Melissa Kathleen Page of Sulphur Springs. She had previously pleaded no contest in Hopkins County to Abandoning or Endangering her children by negligence and theft of property valued at more than $2500 but less than $30,000. She was sentenced to deferred adjudication probation. She allegedly violated her probation, and now faces the maximum sentence.

Candy DeShawn Newsom was arrested in Hopkins County on Tuesday. She was charged with Forgery of a Financial Instrument. No bond information was available. At last report, she was behind bars.
