Hopkins County Man Guilty Of Sexual Assault Of Child

Mr. Hunt pled guilty yesterday to Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child and
was sentenced to 30 years in prison with aggravated parole rules. Hunt, age
38 at the time of the investigation, admitted to Hopkins County
investigators that he engaged in sexual acts with a seven year old female
child from November 2017 through January 2018. He has no significant
criminal history, but some prior arrests for unlawfully carrying a weapon
and violating a protective order. The case was prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Clay Harrison. Hunt was represented by Sulphur Springs attorney Clay Johnson.
