Hugo Flight Nurse Celebrates Milestone

Flight nurse Mindi Wheat recently celebrated a milestone in her career with her 50th patient flight. Wheat is a flight nurse for the Hugo, Okla., Air Evac Lifeteam base.  She started working as a flight nurse in September 2015. Prior to joining Air Evac, Wheat worked in the emergency department at Christus St. Michael Hospital in Texarkana, Texas. She received her nursing education at Eastern Oklahoma State College.
