Inmate Charged With Assaulting Hopkins County Correctional Officer

Officials charged a Hopkins County Jail inmate Friday with assaulting a correctional officer. Video in the jail showed 23-year-old Jakwaviane Kentrail Goodson punching the guard in the face during an altercation. He had received 17 years in prison after pleading guilty in July to unrelated felony charges.
