Malnourished Horses Seized in Camp County

About 150  malnourished horses in need of veterinary care were seized by the Camp County Sheriff’s Department Thursday morning. The animals  were transported to a temporary emergency shelter where they are receiving veterinary care. The owner of the property, whose name has not been released, was arrested and  has bonded out of jail on animal cruelty charges. The property had reportedly been used as an equine rescue facility.
