Man Drowns In Van Zandt County

Three Payne Springs firefighters responded to a call at Enchanted Oaks about a man who had gone underwater and had not resurfaced. They found the person on the bottom of the lake in about seven feet of water. They gave the victim CPR and transported him to the hospital, but he did not survive. They have not released his name.
