Man Sentenced For Commerce Hold-Up

A Hunt County man has been sentenced to 40 years in prison after pleading guilty to the armed robbery of a Commerce convenience store. Burnches Markiesh Mitchell, 23, was shot by a Commerce police officer during the holdup. He still faces more charges, including 17 counts of Aggravated Robbery in Tarrant County and capital murder, out of an undisclosed location.
