Having won a postseason game in each of the last five seasons, the fifth-seeded Texas A&M University-Commerce women’s basketball team looks to make it six in a row on Monday morning when it faces eighth-seeded Northwestern State in the first round of the Southland Conference Tournament in Lake Charles, Louisiana.

Northeast Texas Community College hosted the Southern Arkansas Community College Stars in softball action on March 4, 2023, and came away with two run-rule victories. Game 1 saw the Eagles take down the Stars 10-2, and in Game 2, NTCC also put up ten runs in a 10-1 win over Southern Arkansas CC.

HIGH SCHOOL

Winnsboro’s senior 6-2 Forward No. 55 Faith Acker made the State All-Tournament Team for the UIL.
