Baker Mayfield threw for two touchdowns, one set up when Myles Garret had a strip-sack for the third straight game. The Browns held on for a 49-38 victory over the Dallas Cowboys. Cleveland improves to 3-1 for the first time since 2001. Dallas falls to 1-3.

The Vikings whipped up on the Texans 31-23. Minnesota is now 1-3 with their first win, while Houston is still looking for one.

New Orleans did in Detroit, Lions 35-29. The Saints are now 2-2 for the year, and the Lions are 1-3.

The Chiefs and Patriots postponed their game after a positive COVID test on both teams. The game could be either today or Tuesday.

The Titans’ outbreak expanded by two more layers testing positive Friday. That pushed the team’s total to 14 within the past week.

Houston Astros and the Oakland Athletics pick up Game 1 in their Division Series today at 3:07 pm.

NCAA
West Virginia defeated the Baylor Bears 27-21, but it took two overtimes.
