A Northeast Texas man who was sentenced to seven years in prison in 2006 says his latest arrest in Bowie County for burglary was unjust and a case of retaliation. Reggie Mason Smith, 42, of Hooks, is now on trial for kicking in the door of a residence in January of 2015. He told authorities the couple that lived there were responsible for him hearing voices.
