NLHS Students Named To All-Region Band

Thirteen advances to Area

High school band students from Region IV competed for placements in the All-Region Band on December 7 at North Lamar High School.  Pictured are the NLHS Brass, Woodwinds and Percussion students after auditioning who earned their place in the All-Region Band.

          Students in the All-Region Brass and Percussion beginning first row are Jerron Newberry, Madison Semanek, Aurora Davis and Laura Daniel; second row,James Tran, Harrison Perry, Donato Curvino, Kyle Melvin, Kaylee Kent and Kloe Kueckelhan; and back row, Wesley Crites, Kareagin Allison, Miguel Rosas, Colton Wilson, Brian Slater and Dylan Halliday.

          Students in the All-Region Woodwinds are Kamdyn Bailey, Rachel Rogers, Jayden Franklin, Cydney Holbrook, Jacey Lilley, Allison Bright, Hannah Semanek and Destiny Hudson; second row, Chloe Blount, Sophie Carl, Symphony Hill, Christi Miles, Madison Bridgers, Isla Taber and Stoney Shelton; and back row, Andrew Thompson, Mark Howell, Parker Freeman, Will Rast, Keylan Melvin, Jaden Franklin, Madison Maroney and Madison Winter.

          The North Lamar High School Band is under the direction of Randy Jones, Jason R. Smith, and Justin Caldwell.
