No More Physical Letter Delivery To Prison Inmates

The Texas Department of Criminal Justice says the delivery of physical letters will soon be a thing of the past for inmates at state prisons. The state will now route family and friends’ letters, photographs, and drawings to a central location for scanning. Inmates receive access to digital, colorized mail copies on their tablet devices. Legal and media mail, books, and magazine delivery remain unchanged.
