Paris PD Investigating Counterfeit Complaints

Paris Police is investigating two counterfeit complaints. An unknown suspect attempted to pass a counterfeit $100 bill during a transaction at Walmart and fled before police being notified. Two women attempted to pass bogus $20 bills at a location in the 600-block of Bonham. The pair remained at the scene and spoke with officers about the counterfeit bills. The investigation is ongoing.
