Paris PD Non-Lethal Policy For Feral Dogs

The Paris Police Chief instituted a new non-lethal department policy following the fatal shooting of a wild dog by an Animal Control Officer. The new policy will require animal control officers to deploy tranquilizer GPS darts rather than firearms. Police Chief Richard Salter cleared Animal Control Officer Gus Ausburn of any wrongdoing.
