Paris Police Officers responded to a robbery alarm activation at Liberty National Bank at 305 Lamar at about 2:40 Thursday afternoon. While responding, a patrol officer noticed an individual running between houses between Houston and Price and gave chase. The suspect was captured in the back yard of a residence on E. Price Street. The suspect is a 38-year-old white male who lives in Lamar County.
The Paris News reports that the suspect in the Liberty National Bank incident Thursday afternoon was in possession of a note containing threats targeting local schools. Classes at Chisum ISD were reportedly dismissed early as a precaution.

At 2:41 pm, Paris Police Officers responded to an alarm activation at 305 Lamar. While responding, a patrol officer noticed an individual running between houses between Houston and Price and gave chase. The suspect was captured in the back yard of a residence on E. Price Street.
The suspect is a 38-year-old male, white and lives here in Lamar County.
The investigation is continuing.
