Paris Police Report For Friday (Mar 23)

Thursday afternoon, just before 5:00, Paris Police arrested Douglas Cruise, 35, in the 3300-block of Lamar after a traffic stop. Officers found a small amount of marijuana and methamphetamine.

Thursday after 12:30 officers responded to the 900-block of Pine Bluff in regards to a burglary. An unknown suspect had removed a door from the residence.

Police worked an arson complaint in the 2000-block of NW 19th. A possible known suspect had started fires in three trash cans inside the building. They reportedly contained the damage to only the trash cans.

Paris Police responded to 115 calls for service and arrested six people over the past 24 hours ending at 6:00 am Friday (Mar 23).
