Paris Police Report For Thursday (Jan 19)

Eric Pokorski

Paris Police arrested Eric Pokorski, 46, of Paris, at his residence in the 300-block of NW 12th Wednesday morning at 8:39 on a parole violation warrant. Officers booked Pokorski before transferring him to the Lamar County Jail.

Brian Keith Akers

Paris Police located and arrested Brian Keith Akers, 60, in the 300-block of E. Price St at 8:50 Wednesday morning. Akers had an outstanding felony probation warrant for possessing a controlled substance conviction. Akers was booked and then transferred to the Lamar County Jail.

Michael Harrington

Police saw Michael Harrington, 48, of Blossom, at a 1000 block of NE 5th St. residence and knew he had an outstanding felony warrant. They arrested Harrington on a felony probation violation warrant for possessing a controlled substance of more than one gram but less than four convictions. They placed Harrington in the Lamar County Jail.

Jiamon Daquann Bailey

Paris Police received information through Crime Stoppers that Jiamon Daquann Bailey, 23, was at a residence in the 2900 block of Clarksville St. and had multiple felony warrants. Officers located and arrested Bailey on warrants charging him with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, manufacturing or delivering a controlled substance of more than one but less than four grams, and possessing marijuana of more than four but less than five pounds. During the arrest, officers observed contraband in plain view and obtained a search warrant for the residence. Officers located more than one pound of marijuana. Police additionally charged Bailey with possession of marijuana and transferred him to the Lamar County Jail.

Paris Police responded to 82 calls for service and arrested nine people on Wednesday (Jan 18).
