Paris Police Report for Wednesday July 5

 

Sarina McCutcheon, 23, Tieler Abney, 24, David Christopher, 37, and 31-year-old Danny Christopher, all of Paris, were all arrested for possession of a controlled substance and marijuana. They were taken into custody after police received a call about an abandoned vehicle in an empty lot. Officers then found the suspects in a shed behind a home in the 300 block of NE 26th.

David Higbee, 48, of Lamar County was stopped by Paris police for an expired registration sticker in the 400 block of N. Main. Further investigation found him to be in felony possession of a controlled substance.

Paris police arrested 54-year-old Roger Hines after a traffic stop for not wearing a seatbelt.  He was in possession of a handgun on his person and drug paraphernalia in his vehicle. He was also found in possession of a felony amount of a controlled substance. A passenger in the vehicle was arrested for an outstanding traffic warrant.

Paris police arrested 22-year-old William Hindman on several warrants in the 600 block of SE 6th Street, One of the warrants was for sexual assault of a child in a case originally investigated in May.
