Paris Police Report For Wednesday (Mar 14)

Paris Police responded to a burglary of a residence in the 1300-block of E Houston St. The call came in at 11:35 Tuesday morning. Reportedly someone had entered the house and stolen a television while the complainant was away. The investigation is ongoing.

Police worked a disturbance Wednesday morning around 1:45 in the 1100-block of SE 17th. Allegedly during an argument, Dwight Earl Dangerfield had chased a family member and attempted to stab him with a knife. Officers arrested Dangerfield and charged him with aggravated assault of a family or household member with a deadly weapon. He is in Lamar County Jail.

Paris Police responded to 113 calls for service and arrested three people on Tuesday (Mar 13).
