Paris Officers responded to 32 burglaries of automobiles since October 1. The department is urging residents to be responsible and remove all valuables from vehicles and lock them when away for any length of time. In just about all of the reported incidents, the cars were left unlocked. The trend is the suspects are just checking for open cars and not breaking out the windows to gain entry. Please do not set yourself up to be the next victim. Remove all valuables and lock your vehicles.

Paris Police responded to 84 calls for service and arrested eight people Tuesday (Nov 6).
