Paris Police Report Thursday (Dec 3)

A Paris Police investigator with the North East Texas Auto Theft Task Force was dispatched to the 1800-block of NE Loop 286 at 1:37 Wednesday afternoon about a vehicle reported stolen out of Oklahoma. The Oklahoma agency said that the GPS tracker showed its location in that area. The investigator observed the car leaving and attempted to stop it, but the driver evaded the investigator. The GPS later pinned it in the 700-block of NW 3rd St. Officers relocated it and the person driving. Officers arrested Donald Marvin Crowell, 35, of Paris, and charged him with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and evading arrest or detention. Crowell is in Lamar County Jail.
