First slated for Thanksgiving, six days later, the Pittsburg Steelers remain undefeated with a 19-14 decision over Baltimore. Robert Griffin III filled in for Lamar Jackson, who tested positive last week. RGIII says it is not about wanting to play. It’s whether or not they take our safety into account.

NCAA

Wednesday night, No. 17 Texas Longhorns did in No. 14 North Carolina 69-67, Baylor beat Illinois 82-69. The Big 12 Conference released its men’s basketball schedule for the 2020-21 season, and the Longhorns open on the road at Baylor Sunday, Dec 13.  They play their home conference game against Oklahoma State on Sunday, Dec 20.

HIGH SCHOOL

Jefferson ISD has moved to online and closing because of an increase in COVID-19.

Paris Wildcat’s 7^th and 8^th-grade boys will be at Liberty Eylau starting at 4:30 Thursday.

They canceled Saturday’s Sulphur Springs Ladycat’s JV game against Paris. Sulphur Springs will host Paris varsity only starting at 10:00 Saturday morning.

Rockwall took on North Mesquite Monday and won 63-14, while Tyler Legacy took care of Mesquite 21-7.
