Paris Police Report Thursday (Nov 12)

Paris Police responded to the 1000-block of Lamar Ave at 6:04 Wednesday evening to assist the fire department in an investigation. The victim reported that their 36-year-old daughter had set several small fires in a bedroom before getting into an altercation with the victim and leaving the scene. The victim was able to extinguish the fires before any significant damage occurred. The incident is under investigation.

Paris Police responded to the 2600-block of N. Main Wednesday night at 8:03 about a fraud. The clerk reported that two younger black males had attempted to purchase a cigarette lighter with a fake $100 bill. The suspects left the scene on foot before the store called police. The incident is under investigation.

Paris Police located and recovered a vehicle in the 500-block of SE 3rd St at 4:03 Thursday morning. The owner had reported it as stolen through the Dallas Police Department, and officers did not find anyone near the vehicle. The investigation continues.

Paris Police responded to 73 calls for service and arrested two persons on Wednesday (Nov 11).
