Paris Wildcat boy’s team won 1st place at the PHS Sonic Drive-In Invitational on Monday, led by junior Mason Napier’s round of 70. The team total of 317 was good enough to edge out Mt. Pleasant by six shots. Tyler Harvey shot 77, Tate Lewis 79, Adam Clement 91, and Mathew Scott 96, Erickson Mathieu shot 114 in his 1st tourney as a Wildcat. North Lamar had a team score of 394.
Greenville won the girl’s contest, but Ava Tidwell tied for 2nd with a 112 in her 1st tournament. Other girl scores were: Lilly Lewis 120, Ainsley Mathieu 120, Emma Homer 123, Madeline Green 123, Ella Ryan Harper 123, Rachel Renfroe 126, and Angelina Ibarra 140.
