Pilot Seriously Injured In Delta County Plane Crash

The pilot of a small plane that crashed in Delta County was seriously injured Tuesday night. Authorities say the crop duster went down in a field off FM 64 near Pecan Gap and caught fire. The pilot managed to get out of the plane, and witnesses called for help. He had reportedly suffered severe burns, and they flew him to Parkland Hospital’s burn unit. No other information was available.
