Prairiland Grad Becomes DPS Trooper

A 2016 Prairiland High School graduate will join 87 newly commissioned state troopers next week. John Henry William Newman also studied Criminal Justice at Texas A&M-Commerce and is a recent graduate of the DPS Academy in Austin. His first assignment will be in Odessa.
