Salvation Army Shelter In Paris Under Renovation

Work will begin next week on repairs that will allow the Lamar County Salvation Army to reopen its shelter. Renovations will be done to the bathrooms and flooring, the building will be repainted and new insulation will be installed. New roofing has already been put on the building. Salvation Army officials are hoping the shelter will be open by September.
