Second Paris Child Sex Abuse Trial Ends In Guilty Verdict

After deliberating only about 15 minutes, a Lamar County jury convicted 27-year-old Kory Allen Battiest, of Paris, of aggravated sexual assault of a child under the age of 14. He’s the second man convicted on child sex crimes in Lamar County this week.
