Soper Schools Locked Down Briefly Tuesday

Choctaw County authorities say the Soper Public Schools were put on lockdown for about 15 minutes  Tuesday morning when officials received a tip that a student was going to bring a gun to class. The female student, who was a sophomore, did not have a weapon but was taken into custody by deputies. No charges have been filed.
