Sulphur Springs City Council To Discuss Walking Trail

The Sulphur Springs City Council will meet in regular session tonight and is expected to approve a contract for engineering work on the proposed Cross Town Trail project. The project is a walking trail connection Coleman Park, Buford Park and Celebration Plaza downtown. The trail will be funded with grants from the Texas Department of Transportation and Texas Parks and Wildlife, and the city will put in $200,000 for the $1.1 million project.  The council will also meet in executive session to discuss pending litigation.
