Sulphur Springs Man Accused Of Stabbing Relative

Sulphur Springs responded shortly after 10:00 Tuesday night to a report of an assault and found a victim suffering from multiple stab wounds. Officers located 27-year-old Jake Adam Blount, identified as the suspect and the victim’s relative, and arrested him for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, a first-degree felony. They also charged him with Violation of Parole, holding him without bond. They transported the victim to an area trauma center with non-life-threatening injuries.
