Suspect Who Shot At Hunt County Deputy’s Vehicle Eludes Officers

Authorities are investigating a possible drug suspect who allegedly fired shots at the vehicle of an off-duty Hunt County Deputy. The deputy had observed a possible drug transaction in a truck stop parking lot, and when he confronted the suspects, they fled the scene, one on foot and one in a vehicle. The deputy attempted to follow the suspect in the vehicle, who then fired several shots at the deputy’s vehicle. The deputy was not injured, and the suspects remain at large.
