Texarkana Man Charged With Murdering Girlfriend

Texarkana Police arrested a Northeast Texas man in connection with the September slaying of a woman in Texarkana. Police arrived at a residence and found that the boyfriend, Rodney Lindley, had shot 30-year-old Mercedes Young and fled the scene. They transported Young to a hospital, where she later died. They arrested Lindley on a murder warrant late last week.
